Local NC Artist Jesse Lynn

Local NC Artist Jesse Lynn

I am Jesse Lynn and this is my passion. A hobby turned career if you will. I have been making one of a kind beaded jewelry and traditional Alaskan sun-catchers from a very young age. The mixed metals line has been evolving over the last ten plus years. Making wearable art from repurposed and unusual items has been a rewarding challenge for me.

Growing up in Alaska, I not only learned the art of beading but also gained an appreciation for originality and independence. My love of uniqueness is the reason I NEVER make the same piece twice. For the last two decades I have been living in central North Carolina. Over these years, my work has expanded to include mixed metals and hardware in addition to the semi precious stones, seed beads and French beaded flowers I already worked with. I am always looking for new and different ideas to put together.

I hope you enjoy!

My INSPIRATION

Anything can be an inspiration. A rusty washer in the road, a beautiful sunset or just a mood.

Favorite MATERIALS

I use media of all kinds. Metals in any combination such as Sterling silver, brass, copper, base metals and repurposed or broken jewelry are the foundation for my metal line. I also use semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, seed beads, bugle beads and pretty much anything else I find interesting in my beaded line.
